So, I was planning to begin the bathroom project this past weekend. Well, mother nature decided to interrupt. The snow storm here in the northeast caused us to lose power from 3 p.m. Saturday til about an hour ago. We had some pretty large tree limbs down, but no other damage, thank God.
So, looks like my bathroom will just have to be done at a slower rate than what I had expected. Not only because of the weather, but because we will be putting more money into fixing our driveway than expected. We need to put some drains in to prevent it from washing away (it is unpaved) due to water run-off. It will be money well spent, though. It’s not in our budget (and won’t be ANY time soon) to pave it, so for now, we are just having it graded and new Item 4 put down. I will have to be satisfied with posting about that instead of my bathroom. 
Don’t get me wrong, I am super excited about fixing our awful driveway. Just not as excited as fixing up my bathroom.
Well, before and afters are to come for the driveway project, at least!
Also, I am participating in the Pinterest Challenge that Sherry from Young House Love and Katie from Bower Power Blog are hosting. That was the other thing I was planning on beginning this weekend, but couldn’t do. I hope I can get it done by Wednesday!
